05 May 2011 I have been taking estradiol now for about 5 months. Does anybody have a problem with digestion? I seem to bloat alot in my lower bowels. It is very uncomfortable. Not sure if it is the medicine causing this. I bloat alot lately and it hurts somewhat too. I have gained 7 pounds of weight too. My doctor will not change my dosage and says that I am taking the right amount. I had a hysterectomy last Nov. and now I am on HRT. I don't care for it much. My hair is thinning, and I bloat badly so far. I sleep better though and that is the upside to this. I also have a low thyroid and I am currently taking levoxyl 75mg for that. could that be the problem here? Please someone tell me what you think about this.
