I was on the NuvaRing for 4 years and I loved it. Little to no cramps, 2-3 day light periods. Everything was great. Suddenly I started getting yeast infections. The first one was the last week before my period. It went away when I had my period, but came back three days after I put in a new ring. And lasted for 2 weeks. This has helped amazingly. I no longer get the painful cramps I used to get and I'm less moody during that time of month. Only side effect has been a very dry vagina. Makes sex tough sometimes, but not all the time.

At this time, I think it is the worst drug I've ever used. I've just had my blood drawn and was found to be overmedicated, which has very serious side effects. I do not feel that my doctor was very concerned and he did not even see me for this. I was seen by the lab and his nurse only for lab tests and vitals. I left the office. Results for my thyroid panel were called to me the same afternoon. I was told to not take any more Levoxyl until Monday (this is Friday) and then take a half tablet.... View full comment

Suddenly my blood pressure is extremely hi.... from 140 - 90 to 176-98+... For the first time in my life I have to take 20 mg of Enalapril twice a day to keep my blood pressure on check. Even so, the BP goes up to 150 - 95 after twelve hours of taking a pill.... I also have this jiterry feeling and can feel the pulse in the tip of my fingers..... As if in extreme alert or distress
