Although the drug did it's job is lessening the pain, I am always very reluctant to take it because of how drowsy it makes me. Although I can tolerate it better, I still feel like I am movie extremely slowly compared to everyone/everything else when I take the medication.

Even though my blood work comes back normal, I am still cold most of the time when others around me are not. I am told being cold is a side effect of hypothyroidism. So I don't know if that was supposed to improve while taking Levothyroxine or not.

I began with Effexor a few years ago. It worked wonderfully at first, and then I experienced severe side effects. I switched to Cymbalta with great success without the side effects. I sleep well and feel "connected" and balanced. I went off Cymbalta for a few months, without problem. I've recently gone back on, due to some rough life changes. I am very satisfied with Concerta. I have ADD and have tried many different medications with varying success. I have had very few side effects with this drug and it works well with my managment routine. I take the it early enough so I don't have issues with insomnia and I make it a point to eat throughout the day.
