This medication was prescribed to help with my fibromyalgia. Taking this medication has slowly deteriorated my quality of life. It no longer helped with the pain so I discussed it with my physician and it was decided that I could come off this meedication. The "withdrawal" is the most difficult thing I have ever been through. Toprol is very effective and keeps my heart rate low, which is what I need it to do. I just wish there was a way to take this medication and not be tired all the time. I assume it is such a problem because of the high dosage I am on, but I still would love to have more energy regardless.

Very effective against pain. Was taking 10/350 dosage and it was knocking me out at first. Downside is it's very addictive and it doesn't take long to get lulled into the addiction.
