Hi. I read your review of Opana. You were on 60mg of oxycontin, and changed to 5mg of Opana, then had sweating, loss of appetite, no engery, etc. This is NOT because the opana is problematic. It is because your dr. put you on WAY too low of a dose of opana (oxymorphone). Opana is 5 to 7 times stronger than oxycontin mg per mg. That means he should have put you on at least 10mg of opana. I was on Yaz before. I had two periods a month! So my dr put me on femcon fe and now I have had headaches and nausea for a week. It sucks... I don't recommend it.

I felt like I had taken the wrong medicine. I got worse. for about 2 weeks and then for another3-4 weeks of and on I had attacks. the anxiety was the worst I ever had. I really thought I was going mad. Until I finally convinced myself and lots of theropy that it was working. I also have sharp zaps in the head still to this day. I,ve been on it for about 3 months. Moderately effective pain relief, but wasn't strong enough for my specific case. I was in recovery from an internal-external hemorrhoidectomy, which is extremely painful. My surgeon recommended Oxycontin or Percocet, but my physician, knowing my history, advised against prescribing a more addictive drug, knowing my potential for dependency.
