My mother was prescribed Actonel by a visiting locum within 48 hours she experienced a tingling sensation all over her body, followed by horrific pain in all her joints which has continued for another 3 weeks and is ongoing. She is also experiencing night sweats, often having to change her pyjamas twice during the night. She is 72, has diabetes and hypertension. I have tried quite a lot of Chronic pain regimens, and the Opana, has been the only narcotic that I have taken that even with side effects has helped with my pain level to get me through the day, I am on the lowest dose by chose, because I dont want to be completely out of it. All the other drugs I have taken have made me either letrahargic, or made me very sick, and also effected my moods, I even had withdrawals while taking the Ultram, bad stuff I think.

Am on with depakote for biploar hypo mania. Was on Geodon and too sedating, Thoughts of death. Tremors really bad treated with cogentin. then got blurred vision and urinary retention. Seroquel was excellent. Increased weight though. Not as seating as Geodon. Went to XR this past week less sedating less carb cravings. Still on both drugs and feel wonderful!
