One time I had a cold and I took some Vitaminc C to boost my immune system and it felt as thought the cold was shorter, but I am 100% sure that it was because of the vitamin C and not other cold medications I was taking at the time.

I have been suffering from a degenerative joint problem with my spine for about 4 years now. I take vicodin when feeling queezy sounds better than being in pain. Taking it for longer periods (ie... every day for a week) causes me to have itching spells. I prefer percocet but it is harder to get off that stuff. I used it when I had a bad headache once and it worked wonders for me. It also provided a fair amount of relief when I got my wisdom teeth pulled. The variety of it is great, and even the chewable tablets are excellent (and taste well).

This medication has been VERY effective in diminishing my stone frequency. I have not been in significant pain since i started the prescription, so I have been very pleased. I have been on it for over a month now, and I am still having the stomach problems that I had in the beginning, but now I notice that I am bruising easily, often, and quite severely.
