Hemorrhage (Blood Loss) treatment

Description
Specifically known as hemorrhage or hemorrhaging, the condition is ulitmately the loss of blood and in some cases there can be an excessive amount of blood loss escaping from the circulatory system, whether internally or externally from the body. Causes
A hemorrhage can be caused by a traumatic injury (e.g., an injury that forms some type of wound), a medical condition (e.g., where blood escapes from the walls of blood vessels), from hemophilia, leukemia, and/or through a bodily opening such as the nose or mouth, skin, anus and etc.
Prevention
There is no guarantee of prevention of hemorrhage, but many sources propose Vitamin B12 is a source for preventing blood loss and Vitamin B12 deficiency.
Common Symptoms
The symptoms of internal bleeding depend upon where the bleeding is located, how much bleeding has occurred, and what structures and functions in the body are affected. Rare Symptoms
Some rare symptoms include abdominal pain or cramping, bloodly urine and/or stool, garbled or slurred speech, vomiting and rectal bleeding.
Traditional Treatment
Isotonic fluid (e.g., for patients with severe blood loss). Emergency Care Treatment, hospitalization, over-the-counter medication (e.g., Ibuprofen, Advil, Motrin, Medipren), OTC pain relievers and fever reducers, nosteroidal antinflammatory drugs (NSAID's), first aid and/or surgery.
