Anti-Inflammatory treatment

Description
Inflammation is a localized immune response to protect tissues of the body from destruction and is characterized by pain, swelling, redness, and heat. Anti-inflammatory agents are used to counter this response.
Causes
Inflammation can be caused by cartilage degeneration, certain foods, physical injuries, reaction to chemicals, infection, ischemia, and allergic responses.
Prevention
Good nutrition, adequate sleep, ice, and exercising can prevent inflammation.
Common Symptoms
Common symptoms for inflammation include pain, swelling, redness, heat, altered joint function and stiffness, bruising, tender muscles, fever, chills, stuffiness, fluid retention, and blood clots.
Rare Symptoms
Rare symptoms for inflammation include prolonged fever and unrelieved symptoms after treatment.
Traditional Treatment
Conventional treatments include analgesics, corticosteroids, and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), which are most commonly used.
Alternative Treatment
Alternative treatments include vitamin C with SRT, essential omega-3 fish oil, and essential daily packets (magnesium, calcium, multi-mineral, vitamin B, antioxidants, and fish oil.
