Warnings
The generic name of this medication is testosterone and the brand name is Androderm.
The active ingredient of this medication is testosterone. Application is through transdermal system.
This medication is used in treating symptoms of testosterone deficiency in adult males when the body is unable to produce enough testosterone a condition referred to as hypogonadism.
Common Uses:
This medication is used in treating symptoms of testosterone deficiency in adult males when the body is unable to produce enough testosterone a condition referred to as hypogonadism.
Off Label Uses:
None noted currently.
Side Effects:
Acne;
Bitter or strange taste in mouth;
Change in sex drive;
Fatigue;
Gum or mouth irritation;
Gum pain;
Gum tenderness or swelling;
Hair loss;
Headache.
Cautions / Warnings:
Not recommended in people with:
Allergic reactions to this medication or any of its ingredients;
Known or suspected carcinoma of the breast or prostate;
It is also not recommended in women and especially those that are pregnant; planning on becoming pregnant; and nursing mothers.
Drug Interactions:
Carbamazepine;
Corticosteroids like prednisone;
Macrolide immunosuppressants like tacrolimus;
Oxyphenbutazone;
Anticoagulants like warfarin;
Insulin or oral hypoglycemics like glyburide;
Propranolol.

...I highly recommend the use of this product. Easy to use. I may try Androgel because it doesnt have adhesion issues.

Great energy and sexual interest boost but had to discontinue due to skin reactions worsening with application sites. Definitely easier to use than androgel. Less risk of testosterone exposure to spouse and I could swim when I wanted to...but couldn't continue due to reactions at app site.

8 weeks and no improvement to libido/memory/energy/mood. Patches causing rash/burns and are very itchy. If t level do not go up significantly in 4 weeks I will stop using this product.
