The active ingredients of this medication is candesartan cilexetil. Inactive ingredients include hydroxypropyl cellulose, polyethylene glycol, lactose, corn starch, carboxymethylcellulose calcium, and magnesium stearate.

Primarily used in the treatment of high blood pressure or hypertension.

19 Mar 2009 I was taking Lisinipril for 10 years and read that Atacand had less side effects, so I switched and can hardly notice the differense between the two.
