28 Oct 2010 cured my gum problem but gave me cystitus and heartburn.Maybe could have just of had a lighter dose as I don,t usually take antibiotics.

12 Oct 2009 This is being given to my child to fight a MRSA infection that required surgery. We are hoping to get her switched out of it if her MRSA is susceptible to something else, as the side effects are really unpleasant. Her finger and toe joints are swelling and itchy; she throws up unless given anti-nausea meds; she's not eating; she sleeps a ton. That said, MRSA is also very unpleasant so sometimes you have to do what you have to do.

12 Jul 2009 The review from March 2009 was dead-on with my experience. My wisdom teeth were pulled and this was prescribed as a anti-biotic for the abscess that had formed under one of the molars. I experienced a severe yeast infection and moderate rash that persisted for a little more than a week. My appetite had also dropped off noticeably. I was prescribed Betamethasone Valerate as a lotion for the rash, so far its working wonderfully.

24 Mar 2009 I'm allergic to penicillin, but apart from that I'm one of the lucky ones that never normally suffers from drug side effects - I've been given many different antibiotics and never had any effects similar to this one. I went to the dentist healthy, within 24 hours I had reactions/infections that I never normally suffer - never had a yeast infection or sinus infection before taking this drug. It seems to destroy everything good that keeps you healthy and I've now been told the effects could last months. I would take this drug again IF my life depended on it - but anything less - no way - there are too many alternatives (for a non penicillin user) that don't destroy your general health.
