My 73-yr-old mother takes cyclobenzaprine has she now has all these side effects: incontinence, dilatation of urinary tract, urinary retention, increased urination, rash, weakness, tiredness, arm pain, bruising, numbness, muscle twitching, muscle spasms, muscle cramping, back pain, tremors, depressed mood, loss of mental ability, nervousness, anxiety, agitation, mood swings, confusion, disorientation, loss of memory, loss of concentration, abnormal thinking and dreaming, insomnia, hallucinations, psychosis, vertigo, nausea, constipation, paralytic ileus (blockage of intestines), loss of appetite, weight gain, tooth decay, blurred vision, increased heartrate, stroke. Elderly should be 5mg max, but her pills are 10mg from her neurologist. Some compunding of cyclobenzaprine contains iron oxide which causes Parkinsons, and she now has Parkinsons. Was her Parkinsons caused by cyclobenzaprine?

After suffering from quite an intense sprain of my ankle on the tennis court, this medicine was prescribed. It helps with the pain but the swelling still seems to persist.
