The generic name of this medication is beclomethasone and brand name is Beconase AQ.
The active ingredient of this medication is beclomethasone.
This medication is used to prevent and treat seasonal and year-round allergy symptoms (such as stuffy/runny nose, itchy eyes/nose/throat, sneezing).
Common Uses:
This medication is used to prevent and treat seasonal and year-round allergy symptoms (such as stuffy/runny nose, itchy eyes/nose/throat, sneezing).
Off Label Uses:
The off label uses of this medication - it is also used to prevent the return of growths in the nose (nasal polyps) after removal by surgery.
Side Effects:
Bad taste
Coughing
Headache
Hoarseness
Nasal irritation or dryness
Nausea
Sore throat
Cautions / Warnings:
Not recommended in patients with the following conditions:
In those that are allergic to it.
In patients that have eye problems (such as glaucoma, cataracts), infections (including tuberculosis), recent nose problems (such as injury, ulcers, surgery).
