31 Dec 2016 I smoked for 50 years. I tried quitting so many times I lost count. Chantix is like nothing you can imagine if you are a smoker. You take it, you're done smoking...that easy !!!

28 Jun 2012 I took Chantix for the full 12 weeks and yes... I QUIT SMOKING. However, during the last couple of weeks on the drug, I was exhausted and gained one fourth of my body weight. Dr just "attributed" the symptoms to body adjusting to no nicotine. so, I hoped the tiredness and weight gain would gradually get better - but it got worse. Went for many medical tests as I developed cramping and spasms in both legs that were painful, Face was swollen. I had to put cold wash clothes on face every morning to try to relieve the swelling.. After many tests, exams, blood work - there was a whole list of problems, Thyroid was not working, adrenal glands showed "burnout", toxic buildup of minerals such as copper overload, I had zero hormones (which had never been a problem before), severe HAIRLOSS. The sad thing is that I was a healthy person with a smoking habit. I guess I should have continued smoking. I link all of these problems to Chantix in "messing" up the transmitters in the body endocrine system.

03 May 2012 I had a weird episode where I was totally awake and felt like I was in a dream, I stopped taking it for a week and started over, after two weeks of doubling my insulin intake I quit taking it and am still having trouble with my blood sugar almost two months later

29 Feb 2012 I had to stop taking chantix 9 weeks into a 12 week cause. Had seizure in my sleep, now have epilepsy, nothing in family, i have never suffered a head injury. Did not have epilepsy before chantix. Have now got sjogrens, and vit d dificency. This pill has ruin my life.
