I was on my way to Florida Hospital for what I now know to be related to pancreatitis and stopped first at Lakeside Alternatives for voluntary treatment/evaluation. They told me at intake I didn't need to check in - while sitting in my car in their parking lot in front looking at the sky and getting ready to drive to Florida Hospital, they came back outside and had me come back in involuntarily. After being admitted, I was kept there for three weeks instead of three days and given repeated injections of haloperidol, all the time having a pain in my abdomen which they took to mean a stomach ache. They finally released me after three weeks instead of three days when all they had to do to begin with was check me in for an evaluation, which they refused to do. I now know I have some sort of problem with my pancreas and do not know if the haldol injections/tablets I took made my pancreatitis worse.

I don't recommend this medicine, it causes a lot of problems
