Michael Jackson

An autopsy revealed that Michael Jackson died of a lethal overdose of the anesthetic propofol, or Diprivan, which he used to relieve his chronic insomnia.

Seal

Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Seal is physically striking—but those scars come from discoid lupus, not from tribal rituals as is rumored.

User Comments about Reglan
15 Feb 2013 Reglan helped tremendously to get my eating habits back to normal. I have gastroparesis, and I sometimes find it very hard to eat a whole meal without feeling sick. Reglan (5mg) before meals fixed that for me. I also had terrible acid reflux while sleeping, and Reglan before bed helped that, too! I don't take Reglan everyday, or even with every meal, but on days where I am stressed or just not feeling good it's priceless. When I was first diagnosed with gastroparesis I took Reglan everyday and it did increase my anxiety level over time (after about 1.5 years). I don't recommend taking it everyday for a long period of time (more than a year), but taking it occasionally for nausea after meals and acid reflux at night it has been a great help to me. It also helped me recover and learn to eat correctly for my condition after I was diagnosed. Gastroparesis can be unpredictable, with stress and food triggers that are hard to control, but Reglan helps me take care of the symptoms when they do come up.

29 Aug 2011 This medication was prescribed as a trial due to the fact that I was having several stomach issues. This worked for a couple of days but it did not agree with me eventually. I had irregular bowels.

10 Mar 2010 Read a full list of symptoms in Plain English. This source is a medical journal but it is written in language that is much easier to understand. All the medical jargon is explained. I wrote this article because I was shocked to find that most doctors I met didn't know about the side effects. Studies have documented that most doctors don't. 08 Oct 2009 Took Reglan for 1 week. Ended up in the hospital with what they called a "common bad reaction to Reglan." I had heart palpitations, muscle pain & spasms, was freezing cold, had a painfully tight chest & jaw, and the worst anxiety I have ever felt in my life. I thought I was going crazy. Months later, and I still suffer from a low-level constant anxiety that has been resistant to treatment. This "common bad reaction" was not mentioned on my patient leaflet. You can read all about my experience on my blog, the Zen Pretzel Trick, under the post "The Hit and Run Doctor."
