User Comments about Suboxone
18 Dec 2011 I have been on Suboxone for about 6 months now because of my past drug addiction. My doctor has me on 8 ml pills, 3 times a day. Which is a lot and I only take it when I need it (cold sweats, ect.) I am grateful for this drug because now I no longer addicted to opiates even if I am now addicted to the Suboxone. For the past 5/6 months I have been getting UTI (Urinary Tract Infections) AT LEAST once a month. I had to even go to the hospital because of it. They found something wrong in my ovary and told me that was what was causing it. It's been almost 3 weeks now (another month) and I have ANOTHER horrible UTI. It just dawned on me that it may be the Suboxone that I have been taking, it would make sense with the timing of these infections. Has anyone else experienced UTIs while taking this drug? Would switching to Subutex help the infections? There is no way I can go cold turkey off of suboxone but these UTI are so painful. I have no idea what to do.

15 Jun 2011 Honestly I hate the stuff, I would never go back again, I truly believe it should be used as a short term program, and if some people need a long term program then they should make it alot harder, It is a horrible vicious circle, of going to those greedy doctors who just want their monthly money from you, They tell you they care and spend five minutes with supposedly trying to help, and let you walk out with another script. And they never seem to encourage anyone to try and reduce or even get off any of the programs, which then puts you in the vicious circle of staying on the program and centerlink unless you are one of the luckey ones that can work and stay on it. It's a JOKE. But if you want to stay on centerlink go to opne of those doctors and they'll write you out a med certificate for centerlink so you dont have to look for work. PATHETIC!!!!!!
