12 Mar 2013 Have had every hospital test in the book to find out what was wrong with me. All tests showed normal even though I was very unwell. i had severe pains in my hip/pelvis, knee, elbows,feet, shoulders and my hands were so painfull,and swollen. I also had an inflamed colon and ulceration and I felt permanently tired. The consultants were puzzled as to why the colon appeared so abnormal and all the biopsies showed normal. It was only when I remembered that these symptoms came around the time I was changed HRT. My doctor spotted some vague reference to muscle/joint pain low down on the side effects, and I came off the tablets. Within one day the pains started to subside, and I felt normal.

22 Jul 2012 I stopped taking it for 6 days and the severe headaches returned. I'm back on it again but am really concerned about joint pain and excessive body hair growth

30 Nov 2011 Most of my flushes have gone. But I have had two bleeds each 7 days long. I also feel hungry all the time and have put at least 8llbs on.

27 Jan 2011 I have been using Tibolone for 2 months now and though it has helped wih some menopausal symptoms, eg bladder pain, dryness... I am extremely tired and my joints are very painful. I am in my 50's but feel like I am in my 80's. This is over riding the benefits and I stopped taking it tonight. I hope I am doing the right thing. If anyone knows of a natural remedy that works please let us know!!
