Try adding more purple to your diet!
Purple foods such as concord grapes, blueberries, plums, pomegranates, acai berries, red wine, and even eggplants are very high in antioxidants. Purple foods have been shown to protect your heart and vision, promote mental focus, and increase longevity. Research has indicated that purple foods may even be used to prevent or cure cancer.

I like Vyvanse, it helps me to focus, unfortunately its durational effects do not last long after prolonged continuous use.

I've been taking Vyvanse for 8 months now, which is when I was diagnosed. It has completely changed my life! I do have side effects- dry mouth, diarrhea, anxiety (Xanax works great!) and loss of appetite, though, I haven't lost any weight. As a Mother of 3... What's up with that??lol My main complaint is that I DO believe it is interfering with my Depo shot of birth control. I never had any break throughs or periods until starting the Vyvanse. Exactly 2 months after my shot, I have a 2-3 week period which feels very much like a miscarriage. Supposedly Vyvanse doesn't interfere with BC, but I *know* it's doing something. I'm passing clots the size of the tampon. TMI, sorry. My regular physician says it's not the Vyvanse, but I never had a problem until starting this medicine. I go next week to my regular OB for ultrasounds and to try to figure out what's going on. I've researched the two and there are no findings of them interfering, but I wonder if anyone else has this problem or something g similar and it's just not out there yet... I can't imagine going back to no ADD meds though. My laundry is completely done, the house is uncluttered and I'm able to give my complete attention to conversations. I wish I had this while in school. Im positive I could have made better grades and not been so bored that I tuned out completely.

Although I lost a bunch of weight while being on Vyvanse, it really helped me. Sure it was not the safest way to lose weight but nothing else worked for me. I lost somewhere around 20lbs in the first 3 months but my body wont go under the weight of 150 now. I loved this medication and it improved my memory and grades in school while at the same time it helped me quit other things I was doing.

Vyvanse was a good drug that gave me a decent amount of focus but i saw no side effects unlike the other adhd medication, it have me the amount of focus that i needed but the problem was i would sweat alittle from it like it gave me nervousness which i didnt like, which resulted ina little stress too. Add medications vary from different people so dont get discouraged from other users hatefulness.
