Common Uses:

This medication is used to strengthen and stimulate the functioning of the immune system. Various uses include treatment of AIDS, arthritis, balancing intestinal flora, bone pain, bowel disorders, bursitis, cancer, candida, chronic fatigue syndrome, chronic pain, colitis, Crohn's disease, digestive complaints, duodenal ulcers, fungal infections, gastric ulcers, gastritis, gout, herpes, immune system deficiencies, improving DNA repair, inflammatory problems, intestinal complaints, irritable bowel syndrome, kidney cleanser, leaky bowel syndrome, osteoarthritis, parasites, stimulating the immune system, stomach problems, viral infections, urinary tract inflammation, wounds.

Off Label Uses:

None noted currently.

Side Effects:
Diarrhea;
Dizziness;
Fatigue;
Weakness.

Cautions / Warnings:

It is not recommended in pregnant women; women planning on becoming pregnant; and nursing mothers;
Overdosage of this medicine could result in diarrhea;
Not advisable in people scheduled for an organ transplant or skin graft;
Not recommended in people with clotting disorders or hemophilia.

Drug Interactions:
Chemotherapy or immunosuppressants (eg, cyclosporine, prednisone) because the effectiveness may be decreased by Cat's Claw.

I began the treatment because i do not want go for surgery and remove my uterus. At 5pm, I prepare the tea with 2 tsp of the herb in a 16oz of water. After water is boiling, i let it go for 4 minutes, turn the heat off and cover the pan for 15 minutes and drink it all. In the morning i prepare Uxi Amarelo tea, same directions as the cat claws tea. No side effects at all.
