22 Apr 2012 I have just started my second pack of Reclipsen to help with irregular periods (oligomenorrhea), extreme PMS and acne. I was advised to take 3 months straight without the inactive pills to stop the fluctuation in hormones that comes with a period, which cause my awful symptoms for 2 full weeks each month. I started this pill immediately after my period. One week into taking it, I started another full blown period. I have been spotting for the 3 weeks since then. Spotting was dark initially, now is lighter brown and less frequent, which I attribute to the adjustment period of the pill. I have been experiencing significantly less PMS symptoms ( mood changes and cramps) and my acne feels under control now. I have experienced a slight spike in sex drive, no headaches. I have noticed a spot in my vision, disturbing dreams and slight stomach aches, though these may be attributed to something unrelated. I eat healthy and exercise daily, and I am losing weight consciously, so I don't find it difficult to control my appetite. I like the steady hormone dose for my needs. It's not a perfect experience as of yet, but it is still new to my body. I've been on many other pills and became impatient quickly. This one, I am interested to see what will happen after several months. So far, I feel that it is the best for my needs.

15 Mar 2012 I moved to US from EU. I was prescribed Reclipsen, as my previous BC is hard to get over here. Reclipsen has seem to be the closest kind to my previous BC. But it was not. After one week I started to have constant extreme headaches, I couldnt stop it with any pain reliever. I had never headaches in my life, I'm 29. In one week I ended up two times at ER, they took also the scane of my brain, but everything was ok. After 2 and half week I had to stop to take this BC, and right the other day my headache getting much better. I'm not sensitive type of person, but this was really too much, I couldnt handle the pain. I was mentally and physically exhausted, as I coudln't sleep because of the pain almost nothing. I'm sure this BC fits very good for somebody else, but definitely not for me:( I didnt have any other side effect except this.

17 Feb 2012 I have been taking reclipsen and apri for the past several years. Lately I have been having heart palpitations, moderate depression, severe acne in the week before my period. Can't really tell if I am over stressed or it's the birth control. I also have noticed a decrease in sex drive, almost none actually. I am going to stop taking it next week and see if these symptoms go away

19 Dec 2011 when i first started i had breakthrough bleeding for the first two packs...it always started in the second week and would last all through the "inactive" week and stop when i start taking the active pills again....but by the 3rd pack the breakthrough bleeding stopped and so far so good...i am a bit more emotional now and somewhat moody but other than that the pill is working fine.... also acne is slowly and surely becoming a thing of the past
