User Comments about Theramine
13 Mar 2012 just got prescribed 'Theramine" & am looking into it to see what side effects ar emost common. i have nerve damagein my back and neck ,muscle spasms throughout back, bulging discs in neck & lower back and a rotator cuff tear. Doc said this was safe to take with my regular meds but would take 3 weeks to notice if it helps or not. hoping it will, have been on pain meds since 96" would like to find some relief and lessen the dosages on my regular meds--keeping my fingers crossed, any info or experience with it would help..................V.

15 Aug 2011 Theramine is not a supplement, it is a medical food, which is a classification inbetween drugs and supplements. Theramine is regulated by the FDA as a medical food and is backed by clincial trials and well reviewed scientific data. If your doctor prescribed this product to you it was most likely his/her attempt to manage your pain as safely as possible prior to prescribing more dangerous NSAIDs or narcotics. The problems with NSAIDs is that they are not approved for long term use and Narcotic/Opaites are pretty addicitive and can leave you relatively unfunctional. Theramine is not an NSAID or narcotic pain reliever. It has no adverse side effects and is proven to be safe and effective for the dietary management of pain syndromes.

09 Apr 2011 Take at your own risk. Not everyone is a candidate for this supplement. Until further study is done, be very cautious.
