30 Jan 2012 This is HORRIBLE and DEADLY drug. Please do not take this drug. I was prescribed this drug 3 times in the course of a year (2x for strep throat and 1 time for an infected cat bite). I wish I had known how poor the doctors were that I was seeing for prescribing this drug that many times when it wasn't even necessary. I ended up with a very severe stomach infection, called C Difficile because it killed off all my good bacteria. This is an awful drug and the drug companies and doctors do not have your best interests in mind.

23 Feb 2018 every antibiotic has the potential to give you c-diff. That is the job of antibiotics ..... to kill off the bacteria good and bad.

06 Jan 2012 Works well for infection. No side effects were experienced. The pills have an aftertaste though. It was nice that I didn't get a yeast infection from this antibiotic like I do with many other antiobiotics.
