Generic Name: Bacitracin.

Other brand names containing Bacitracin are Baci-rx; Baciguent; Baciim; Bacitracin Bacillus licheniformis; and Ziba-rx;

Bacitracin is manufactured by Johnson & Johnson Co.,

The active ingredients of this medication are: bacitracin zinc; neomycin; and
polymyxin B sulfate;

The inacative ingredients include: base of cocoa butter; cottonseed oil; olive oil;
sodium pyruvate; and tocopheryl acetate.

Used in the prevention and treatment of bacterial skin infections caused due to minor skin injuries like scrapes, cuts, minor burns.

Common Uses:

Off Label Uses:

None noted currently.

Side Effects:
Irritation;
Itching;
Redness;
Rash;
Swelling;
Severe dizziness;
Trouble breathing.

Cautions / Warnings:

Not recommended in people with:
Allergic reactions to this medication or any of its ingredients or to neomycin;
It is also not recommended in pregnant women; women who are planning on becoming pregnant; and nursing mothers.
