User Comments about Zoloft
09 Nov 2011 Zoloft, or better yet SSRI's were a nightmare for our family. Our teenage son was put on it was not a fit. We had 23 visits to ER with severe nausea, vomitting, and diareahh ..he had difficulty breathing and would be so dehydrated an IV drip was the only solution...he was never an anxious child. No one could tell us what waas going on....even after years of every test in the book....we told them he was on zoloft but no one seemed to put it together...it wasn't until i started reading other people's experiences that i realized this zoloft was not for him...he talked about mental capacity declining...would blank out thoughts wise...or feel like a zombie...and the anxiety got worse due to the life threatening medical issues....he lost so much weight it looked as though he had anorexia...he's off of it now and thankgod! He's been great ever since...got a job ...shows emotion....mental workings have returned....This drug may work for some ...but if your limbs are a jerking and your heart is a racing or you have nausea or it just doesn't feel right get the hell off of it....it hasn't been around long enough to know the long term effects...our son has gone natural..as exercising can provide one with the serotonin the brain needs....what finally did it for us was seeiing the class action law suits against Zoloft ......beware ...and good for you if you say it works...but pay close attention to the signs....hey and that's part of zoloft's charm...you think you feel better as our son did but his brain wasn't functioning well for him to even make that decision...zoloft skewed everything!

19 Oct 2011 Zoloft may be a small pill but for me it produces mighty results. Without zoloft I am a quivering mass of nerves, with it I can function like a normal person.

26 Aug 2011 I hated it...I went to the doctor to change my prescription or I was going off my med altogether...It was not worth living with a migraine every day for four weeks

07 Jul 2011 I was only on Zoloft for 3 days. As far as mood, it seemed fine, but I have a very high sex drive and was completely unable to climax.....alone or with my partner. I immediately discontinued use when this happened
