01 May 2012 I have diabetes, treated with oral and insulin. Also treated for high trigycerides, high cholesterol, and bp. Carving for sugar has increased, gained 10# and all readings have jumped up remarkably since starting this medication. At first it helped the pain in my hands and generalized/overall aching pain. Lately I have begun to feel more pain and particularly old injury pain in neck/back, which has flared for years. Doctor just increase dosage from 300 mg x3 to 600 mg x3 to see if that would help with ALL my pain (rather than give me Vicodin which I had been on for the accident pain for many years and it worked). I'll give it 8 weeks and then evaluate for doctor.
