I am among the very sensitive to this medication so I am careful about not driving, going out after taking it. It has made me fall down numerous times, until I figured it out, and it still makes me dizzy when I stand up from a prone or sitting position. I am prescribed WAY MORE than I should be. I take much less than I am prescribed. It has helped a lot with stopping the (nerve) pains that originate in my back (from car wreck) and travel down my leg that feel like some put a long ice pick into my thigh all the way down though the back of my ankle--at least that's what I assume that would feel like if there was someone with a long ice pick doing that, I've never actually had an ice pick in my leg, but I am sure that my pains are what it would feel like if I had. Hope that made sense. One last thing, I am a proponent of medical marijuana because it helps my sever and chronic back pain more than any other drug ever has and trust me, I have been prescribed pretty much all of the severe pain meds at one time or another over that last couple of decades but none have helped as much to lesson my pain. I am just glad that I have never been caught by the authorities because I doubt that I would be given much more than an aspirin for pain if I were in prison. Please support medical marijuana.

I fall asleep as I sit at the computer or am reading a book without knowing it. I may wake up fast or it may take 2 to 4 hours to wake up and go to bed.

The first night I took Tizanidine, I was very drowsy and dizzy as if I were in a drunken stupor. I could not function at normal speeds and could not even stay awake to read a paper. Every night after the first night, I was fine!
