My Mom was on affinitor for a year. She has breast cancer and metastatic attacked her liver. This stuff for how expensive it is did not do anything. Massive loss of appetite! For a couple of months thing seem to be stable then the weight loss started. In less than 6 months she lost over 50 pounds. Doctor blames the cancer we blame the pills. We constantly told the doctor about appetite and weight loss and all was said all is fine. Till we had to push for a pet scan found tumors are growing rapidly in the liver and cancer now attacked the hip. She is gone from 155 pounds to 112. Affinitor costs $9000.00 a month and really did not do much help at all. Are doctors getting a kick back on pushing this pill????

After taking Afinitor for only two months my situation got worse. Headaches and dizziness were terrible. I had panic attacks and severe anxiety. 8 months after stopping this medication, I continue to have dizziness and headaches. Many days I feel depressed. This is the worst possible drug anyone could take. It had no effect on the cancer whatsoever.
