Cancer treatment
Description
Cancer is a class of diseases characterized by abnormal or uncontrolled growth of a group of cells, resulting in interference, damage, and destruction to surrounding cells, tissues, and organs. When this uncontrolled growth and development of cells spreads to various other locations or parts of the body through lymph or blood it is referred to as metastatsis. Unlike tumors, cancers are not limited
to one particular location and untreated can grow and spread quickly. While most cancers form tumors and growths certain forms of cancers do not, example leukemia. Depending upon the type of cells that grow and multiple abnormally cancers can be classified as blastomas; carcinomas; germ cell tumors; lymphomas and leukemia; and sarcomas.
