06 Jan 2012 Body builds a tolerance as it can with anything else. May not work for some. It took me 4 brands of allergy pills til I found one that worked

15 Feb 2010 alavert kicked in really quicly and i was able to be focused during the workday. Didnt leave me groggy like other allergy medications i've taken.

13 Jul 2009 This was my first time taking the medication and I'm not sure if I was just extremely miserable or the medication took a long to work. I felt extremely congested and had series of sneezing attacks for the first 12 hours (or so) but after that it appeared to be working. I was also anxious because this medication can only be taken once in a 24 hour period...which meant that I couldn't take anything else until the next day. Maybe my body needed time to get accustomed to the medication.
