12 Aug 2012 Taken this since I was diagnosed with asthma as a 4 year old. Very effective for me as I grew up. While it does speed up your heart rate when you take it, it helps you breathe and relive the weezing that bothers us asthma folks so much. Now 21, the inhaler and nebulizer (not sure if I spelled that right) are things I rarely ever use. I'm very healthy now, and basically asthma free. I only reach for an inhaler if I have a cold or the flu, and feel a bit of weezing starting to occur. Definitely recommend.

25 Nov 2011 Albuterol is very effective for asthma attacks and in periods of illness to relieve inflammation, though fast heart beat is an undesirable side effect
