Warnings
The generic name of this medication is meclizine and brand names are Antivert and Meni-D.
The active ingredients of this medication is meclizine.
Mainly used in the prevention and treatment of nausea, vomiting and dizziness associated with motion sickness.
Common Uses:
This medication is used in the prevention and treatment of nausea, vomiting and dizziness associated with motion sickness.
Off Label Uses:
The off label uses of this medication is that it is also used for vertigo (or dizziness) caused by certain inner ear problems.
Side Effects:
Drowsiness
Dry mouth
Severe allergic reactions (rash, hives, itching, difficulty breathing)
Tightness in the chest
Swelling of the mouth, face, lips or tongue.
Cautions / Warnings:
Not recommended for patients with the following conditions:
If allergic to any ingredient in Antivert.
If patient is taking sodium oxybate (GHB)
During pregnancy and pre-pregnancy.
If patient has asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), chronic bronchitis or emphysema.
Drug Interactions:
Sodium oxybate (GHB).

I used to get Vertigo every day from stress - on antivert it prevented my vertigo symptoms without much symptoms

This pill helped a great deal with my vertigo. It stopped the "world from spinning" around me. It did make me drowsy and I slept most of the time after taking it.
