The generic name of this medication is exemestane and brand name is Aromasin.

Active ingredient of Aromasin is exemestane which is freely soluble in N, N-dimethylformamide, soluble in methanol, and insoluble in water.

The inactive ingredients of Armoasin include: colloidal silicon dioxide and
crospovidone;

Aromasin is manufactured by Pfizer.

Mainly used in treating advanced breast cancer in women that are post menopausal; whose disease has progressed despite treatment with other medicines.

31 May 2015 Hello, I am so so sorry to hear your affected so badly by this drug. Have you asked to be put on another similar drug which may not give you so many side affects. I take a vick sinus spray which helps my cough a little. Take care x Kath

30 May 2015 I have experienced severe anxiety and depression, coupled with incessant coughing and difficulty breathing. The joint pain has been unbearable. I would wake up at night feeling as though I was being tortured, in too much pain to even turn over. I now take the 25mg dosage on alternate days and that has reduced the side effects to just tolerable. I would still say that I have a greatly diminished quality of life but having had a recurrence after 6 years in remission I am going to try to soldier on for as long as I can.

04 Oct 2014 I have experienced stiffness of joints with aromasin, but the coughing is getting me down. Day and night. anyone else had this.
