The generic name of this medication is acetaminophen and brand names are Panadol, Tylenol.

The active ingredient of this medication is acetaminophen.

This drug is used to treat mild-to-moderate pain like headaches; cold/flu aches and pains; and to reduce fever.

Common Uses:

This drug is used to treat mild-to-moderate pain like headaches; cold/flu aches and pains and to reduce fever.

Off Label Uses:

None noted currently.

Side Effects:
Easy bruising/bleeding;
New signs of infection (e.g., fever, persistent sore throat).

Cautions / Warnings:

Not recommended in people with:
Allergic reactions to this medication or any of its ingredients;
Liver disorders;
Regular use/abuse of alcohol;

It is also not recommended in pregnant women; women that are planning on becoming pregnant and nursing mothers.

Drug Interactions:
Anti-seizure medications (e.g., phenytoin, carbamazepine, phenobarbital);
"blood thinners" (e.g., warfarin);
Isoniazid, phenothiazines (e.g., chlorpromazine).
