This medication is used to reduce fever and provide relief from mild-to-moderate pain from conditions like muscle discomfort, toothache, common cold, and headache. It also helps reduce the risk of stroke and prevents heart attack in people with chest pain.

Used to reduce pain and swelling that occurs due to conditions like arthritis.

Children and teenagers must not be administered aspirin, aspirin-containing medications to treat flu unless advised by the physician, mainly because it could result in a condition called Reye's syndrome.

Not recommended in people with:
Allergic reactions to this medication or any of its ingredients; to other salicylates like choline salicylate; or to other pain killers or fever reducing agents like NSAIDs (ibuprofen, naproxen);
Bleeding/blood-clotting disorders like hemophilia, vitamin K deficiency, low platelet count;
Renal disorders;
Liver disorders;
Diabetes;
Abdominal disorders like ulcers; acidity; and abdominal discomfort.

It is also not recommended in pregnant women; women planning on becoming pregnant; and nursing mothers.
