Try adding more purple to your diet!
Purple foods such as concord grapes, blueberries, plums, pomegranates, acai berries, red wine, and even eggplants are very high in antioxidants. Purple foods have been shown to protect your heart and vision, promote mental focus, and increase longevity. Research has indicated that purple foods may even be used to prevent or cure cancer.

Seems to have shrunken my prostate. I urinate less frequently. Might be responsible for mild erectile dysfunction/loss of libido. Viagra or cialis help with the sexual side effects.

Been taking Avodart for 2 years. I MAY have experienced a little loss of libido and slight erectile dysfunction, but at the same time, I am getting older too (I'm 59). However, I still have interest in sex, and have it a few times a week, either through intercourse or masturbation. Viagra & Cialis completely negate any issues with my erection. Just a little of either gets me extremely erect and capable of staying that way. Possibly the reduction of semen amount and more clear color is attributable to the Avodart. No other possible side effects. In the meantime, my prostate seems to be slowing shrinking, and when I urinate, I feel I am more fully emptying my bladder. I've read a lot of scary reviews about Avodart, but haven't found it to negatively affect me to the point I would stop taking it and have to deal with an enlarging prostate. If you take it, pay attention to any possible side effects and report them to your doctor.

Used for 24 months. Took care of BHP "__but at a terrible price of loss of libido, and sexual function___." Stopped taking six months ago and no return of BHP problem. Libido is a little better. Had sex once recently but I'm far from recovered. It takes a long time for avodart to get out of your system. I'll have an operation instead of ever taking it again.
