The generic name of this medicaiton is aspirin.

The various brand names are Arthritis Pain, Aspergum, Aspir-Low, Aspirin Lite Coat, Bayer Aspirin, Bufferin, Easprin, Ecotrin, Empirin, Fasprin, Genacote, Halfprin, Norwich Aspirin, St. Joseph Aspirin, Stanback Analgesic, Tri-Buffered Aspirin, YSP Aspirin, Zorprin.

Active Ingredient: Aspirin.

Inactive Ingredients: Corn Starch, Dextrose Excipient, FD&C Yellow 6 Aluminum Lake, Flavor, Saccharin Sodium.

This medication is used to reduce fever and provide relief from mild-to-moderate pain from conditions like muscle discomfort, toothache, common cold, and headache.

Common Uses:

This medication is used to reduce fever and provide relief from mild-to-moderate pain from conditions like muscle discomfort, toothache, common cold, and headache.

Off Label Uses:

Used in the prevention of heart attack.

Side Effects:
Serious side effects:
Black, bloody, or tarry stools;
Coughing up blood or vomit that looks like coffee grounds;
Fever lasting longer than 3 days;
Hearing problems, ringing in your ears.
Severe nausea, vomiting, or abdominal discomfort;
Swelling, or pain lasting longer than 10 days.

Cautions / Warnings:

Not recommended in people with:
Allergic reactions to this medication or any of its ingredients.
Aspirin-sensitive asthma;
Bleeding/blood-clotting disorders;
Diabetes;
Growths in the nose.

It is also not recommended in pregnant women; women who are planning on becoming pregnant; and nursing mothers.
