I had what I thought was the normal yeast infection back in july.. early july... i was given a prescription over the phone for one pill and it was gone within a couple days... had no concern after that. well shortly after that... i started to get the same symptoms.. thought to myself "oh great another yeast infection" the symptoms were both around my period so i thought okay whatever. well i went in to my obgyn and she did a culture and said that it looks bacterial.. she told me about this prescription so i thought it sounded easy enough.. one insert before bed for 3 days. I took a bath that night without soap to calm myself down after work.. i put the ovule in laying down on my bed wearing a CLEAN always pad and then went to the bathroom to rinse off the applicator... that is when i started feeling major discomfort right away... it was itching and burning beyond belief.. i went online and looked at the side effects and it was what i was experiencing. i took a bath immediately and got out and then started having trouble breathing.. i was rushed to the emergency room and they said i had a panic attack cause of the itching and burning..but they gave me benidryl via iv along with a couple other stuff and everything all went away.. I am 17 years old so this was horrible to go through... it is the next day and im still having slight trouble breathing so i took an allergy pill but im getting better. i did experience stomach pain and nausea as well
