14 Jan 2013 I am my second round of this medicine for a sore on my thigh and streptococous. only ill effects i have had is a very strog metalic taste in my mouth which is so bad it makes me nauseous and gag sometimes thorwing up. i get hurtburn and an irritated throat occasionally. other than that its a great antibiotic and in a matter of a few days significatly helped

25 Sep 2012 The drug is very effective in treating sore throat and tonsillitis. On the second day of treatment the swelling in my tonsils were gone. But on the third day and onwards I began to develop oral ulcers near the throat which were so painful and bothersome. Whenever I eat, the stinging sensation on my throat was really terrible. It really affected my eating habits and the quantity of food I eat.

28 Oct 2010 cured my gum problem but gave me cystitus and heartburn.Maybe could have just of had a lighter dose as I don,t usually take antibiotics.

12 Oct 2009 This is being given to my child to fight a MRSA infection that required surgery. We are hoping to get her switched out of it if her MRSA is susceptible to something else, as the side effects are really unpleasant. Her finger and toe joints are swelling and itchy; she throws up unless given anti-nausea meds; she's not eating; she sleeps a ton. That said, MRSA is also very unpleasant so sometimes you have to do what you have to do.
