Common Uses:
This medication is used to relieve pain, swelling (inflammation), and joint stiffness caused by arthritis.
Off Label Uses:
None noted currently.
Side Effects:
Upset stomach;
Nausea;
Heartburn;'
Diarrhea;
Constipation;
Headache;
Tiredness;
Drowsiness and dizziness.
Cautions / Warnings:
Not recommended in people with:
Allergic reactions to this medicationl; any of its ingredients; or to aspirin or other NSAIDs (e.g., ibuprofen, naproxen, celecoxib);
Aspirin-sensitive asthma (a history of worsening breathing with runny/stuffy nose after taking aspirin or other NSAIDs).
It is also not recommended in pregnant women; women planning on becoming pregnant; and nursing mothers.
Drug Interactions:
High doses of aspirin and related drugs (salicylates), cidofovir, other NSAIDs (e.g., ketorolac);
Anti-platelet drugs (e.g., cilostazol, clopidogrel);
Oral bisphosphonates (e.g., alendronate);
"blood thinners" (e.g., enoxaparin, heparin, warfarin).

I have been on Diclofenac for about eight months for severe joint and lower back pain.They help me with pain, inflammation and stiffness in my joints combined with other pain relief if needed,such as paracetamol or co-codamol depending on my level of pain.

i have just started to take Diclofenac with solpadol for RSI the right arm.I am not sure which is causing the problems I have experienced,"flu"like syptons ie sweats painful aching joints and muscles sore throat.This was after a couple of doses .

As I said before, I used this medication for my back pain, and it really worked, it relieved my back and helped me having a better sleep time. I really appreciated it. But I had to use it in combinayion with paracetamol.
