I had catheter ablation and was put on dronedarone for possible atrial fibrillation. I had atr-frib and a flutter, both repaired?. I have had a runny nose to some extent, severe itching in the groin and stomach areas with other itching on my sides, back and chest. Worse, I have experienced a lot of shortness of breath and wheezing when I exert even just a little bit. I wake up at night from feeling that I can't quite breathe to get oxygen and I worry that I will all of a sudden run out of air. Earlier this evening I carried a boz, about 20 lbs. and wheezed badly over about 300 feet. Boy was I happy to put that box down!! I am on 400 m,g twice a day. Do I need to quit this drug?
