20 Feb 2015 I have an injection once every 6 months I have no side effects ,I lift weights and work out 4 x a week and do a lot of juicing in my diet I have stage iv prostate cancer metastases to bone,I feel pretty healthy all things considered its been three years

19 Feb 2015 I have been on eligard for 20 months with 4 to go it hasn't been pleasant but tolerable.but that's part of life and am glad I'm doing it for the benefits of the therapy.

27 Sep 2010 PSA levels have come down well - but now seem to be creeping up again very gradually after six years. I also suffer from vouts of fatigue which can last a day or two or three. Also unsetady on my feet, weight gain, and have devloped glaucaoma, possible unrelated. Have also suffered irregular heart beat and high blood pressure to the extent of needing a pacemaker installed. Never feel really well - and feel this is a Catch 22 situation. I am grateful that the drug may be saving my life, but wonder is it also takijg away my quality of life with the side effects, and whether or not i really need it at all, having a supposedly slow growing "watch and wait" prostate cancer.
