I've been taking errin for 3 months. My pain is gone but I feel like I'm going crazy. I'm dizzy, my legs feel like they swell at night and my feet are alway hot. I've gained weight. My moods have changed.

i am a 49 yr old women thats over weight and inactive. errin was prescribed due to fibroids (heavy monthly bleeding) I did not see any improvement in the first 4 or 5 months the doctor was going to take me off it but i requested to go longer. I had this feeling it needed a chance to get into my system and i was right. i began to NOT have night sweats and my emotions seemed better balanced. my periods were not as heavy. with a tampon and a over night pad i can now go all night without getting up to change. normally my periods are very heavy for 2 days now it is down to 1 day and they are not heavy i would say it is a normal period. i still have blood clots each month. years ago when i was young i was on birth control and over time i did not even have a period so i am wondering if over time with taking Errin if i will not have any periods. time will tell. After being on errin and active (i was working full time) i did not have any swelling in my feet or legs. I now have swelling in my feet and legs from an hour of getting up in the morning lasting all day and getting worse through out the day but i am over weight and inactive. we have also had very hot humid weather and i eat salty foods. when i was eating healthy i DID NOT have swollen legs or feet. i did make a doctors appointment to make sure it is not a side effect of the medication. i hope this information helps. For me this medication is keeping me out of surgery for now. every BODY is different you know your own body better than anyone else. Educate yourself on medications and good eating habits. I have used Errin for the last 11 months while breastfeeding my son. I lost all my pregnancy weight in the first four months and now have been able to maintain it. It stopped my periods (also very nice since it returned at 12 wks postpartum despite breastfeeding 100%) I feel it may have contributed to a decrease in patience and increased my moods swings but I had a lot of stress also which could have caused it. overall I have been very satisfied with this medication.
