After two months on guggulu and stopping my cholesterol medications (due to severe side effects) my overall cholesterol is down (as of this morning) and the good cholesterol is at 39 (one point away from the 40 benchmark for the first time in 15 years). I'm trying to find out if the herb is legal here in the US. My wife has strenuously objected to my taking it because she's afraid I'll get arrested for possession. On the other hand my doctor this morning was quietly pleased with my announcement of what I had been doing.
