The generic name of this medication is clonazepam and brand name is Klonopin.

Marketed and manufactured by Roche under the trade-names Klonopin in the United States and Rivotril.

The active ingredient of this medication is clonazepam and inactive ingredients are lactose anhydrous and pregelatinised maize.

Mainly used in controlling certain types of seizures in the treatment of epilepsy and for the treatment of panic disorders.

Common Uses:

This medication is used to control certain types of seizures in the treatment of epilepsy and for the treatment of panic disorders.

Off Label Uses:

None noted thus far.

Side Effects:
Clumsiness or unsteadiness
Constipation
Cough
Dizziness
Drowsiness
Dry mouth
Headache
Increased saliva production
Lightheadedness
Loss of appetite
Muscle aches
Nervousness
Runny nose
Tiredness

Cautions / Warnings:

Not recommended for patients with the following conditions:
If allergic to any ingredient in Klonopin.
If there is severe mental disorder, acute angle glaucoma or severe liver disease.
If patient is taking sodium oxybate (GHB).
During pregnancy, pre-pregnancy or are breast-feeding.
If there is depression, angle-closure glaucoma, chronic bronchitis, myasthenia gravis.

Drug Interactions:
Sodium oxybate (GHB)
Clozapine
Antifungals (fluconazole), disulfiram, nefazodone, omeprazole or valproic acid
Rifampin, St. John's wort or valproic acid.

This drug has reduced my previously productive life into a wide range of physical and mental symptoms. It has taken away my livelihood as I could no longer concentrate, deal with stress and ability to safely drive. I physically deal with migraines, terrible digestive issues and fatigue among many others. Mentally my anxiety, depression have been greatly increased. I have agoraphobia, depersonalization and derealization. All of these symptoms I did not have until about 12 years after taking benzodiazepines, Which were originally prescribed for for a slight hand tremor. I would never recommend benzos (Klonopin) to anyone. If you do take them proceed with caution and research long term consequences.
