Would not have taken first 3 month shot had know of all side effects. One month after shot started holistic, homeopathy treatment which helped withe headache but not busing or other side effects. My p.s.a. was 9.7, now 0.87. My holistic doctor which only treats cancer said this is the biggest drop he has seen. Suggest not taking any more shots since his treatment is working. Great for his treatment has NO side effects and only attacks cancer cells.

I received 2 lupron shots 3 months apart as suggested by my gyno to reduce fibroids prior to surgery to remove them. Experienced no negative symptoms with the exception of an even lower sex drive and some hair loss during the first 3 mos. The fibroids did not shrink in fact they grew a bit but my Dr. feels it may be due to the 5 mg of hormones he had me take nightly to reduce negative symptoms.

Initially I had increased pain which my doctor warned might happen. This went away after two weeks on the drug. The rest of that month went fine and the second injection went fine until the middle of the second month I started having pain again. We decided to try the third injection and I got worse than before I even started the Lupron. Getting out of bed was really hard because the pain was so bad. I had hot flashes the whole time I was on this drug. Compared to my mom who is going through menopause mine were worse. I wore shorts and a sports bra in my dorm through all of Dec, Jan, and Feb because I would be sweating so bad. But then there where the crashes from the hot flashes that I couldn't do anything to get warm. Worse drug ever!
