12 Apr 2014 I have been on this for a little over a month, I have had nausea at first, but noticed that was better if I ate something then took the pill, there has been an increase in gas, but seems to be slowing down hopefully that ends soon, my appetite is decreasing now that I have been on it a month, did not happen at first, I feel like I have more control over things like sugar that I used to crave like crazy, now its more my choice, my biggest change seems to be in sleep, I used to be up until I took something that would cause my to be tired, but after being on Metformin for the past few weeks I no longer need anything and I sleep really sound, only problem is i get tired faster then I used to, and I want to sleep longer then I have in the past... so its good and bad for me, went from not getting it to getting to much. otherwise I would recommended trying Metformin, seems to be an okay drug so far.

07 Jul 2012 I was wondering if others have experienced what I did when I went hiking to 11,000 ft elevation on a ten day backpacking trip? I would have episodes of not being able to get enough air, feel dizzi, and have heart palpatations. I've never had altitude pfoblems even at 13,000 feet. I would have to lie down on the trail then would recover some but had repeared episodes. Also, the next winter when I was skiing I had sever thigh cramps and never had that before either!!
