Common Uses:

This medication is used in relieve mild to moderate pain and menstrual cramps.

Off Label Uses:

The Off lable Uses of this medication are, This medication also prescribed for relief of the inflammation, swelling, stiffness, and joint pain associated with rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis.

Side Effects:
Abdominal pain;
Constipation;
Difficult or labored breathing;
Dzziness;
Dowsiness;
Headache;
Heartburn;
Nausea;
Red or purple pinpoint spots on the skin, rash-like symptoms;
Ringing in the ears;
Water retention.

Cautions / Warnings:

Not advisable in people who are allergic reaction to Anaprox, aspirin, or similar drugs such as Motrin;
Not advisable in people who have had asthma attacks;
Not advisable in people who have heart disease or high blood pressure.

Drug Interactions:
ACE inhibitors such as the blood pressure medication captopril;
Antiseizure drugs such as phenytoin sodium;
Aspirin;
Beta blockers, including blood pressure drugs such as propranolol hydrochloride;
Blood thinners such as warfarin sodium;
Certain water pills (diuretics) such as furosemide;
Lithium;
Methotrexate;
Naproxen in other forms, such as naproxen;
Oral diabetes drugs such as glyburide;
Other pain relievers such as aspirin, acetaminophen, and ibuprofen;
Probenecid;
Warfarin.

20 Sep 2011	I would experience horrible cramps. They were so bad, I would feel nauseated with pain. I told my gynocologist about the symptoms I was experiencing, and he prescribed me Naproxen. I rarely take medications, and only take Naproxen once a month. 15 Jun 2011	I use Naproxen 500 mg when i am in extreme pain which cant be controlled, I have back and joint pain that sometimes I cant controll with Tramadol 50 mg so thererfore i take this medication.
