In 1971 at age 27 I had a total surgery, the surgeon prescribed premarin for lifetime .....with instruction to stop the medication for one year at 7 or 10 year intervals, this cleans the liver.... After much study, I take the premarin for three weeks then use herbal prestrogone for a week in cream form, (Puritain Pride) this mimicks the bodys natural function as it was before surgery. I take Chlorophyll capsules to keep the body clean. I have never had a problem with premarin, exception a minor slower thyroid function. My hair, skin & breast are exceptional. I think with all drugs a persons chemistry will react differently with each patients reaction to that medication.

I didn't have any hot flashes with this medication. No tiredness. However, discontinued use when it made me have cysts and tumors in my breats.

I simply wanted to comment, in 1971 I had a non necessary surgery, the sugeon need money.was the only reason They put me on the horror drug premarin, told I must take it for life. 1.25 It destroyed my life, ..I learned after years it had made my stomach huge,doctors kept telling me they didn't know what was doing it "idiots"... I became extreemly passive could not defend myself in every day life...the list is endless. When I personally figured out the deamon in my health and life issues, I threw it away. I now am normal. My suggestion for especially young women is don't ever take this crap, it will destroy you. Use herbal or other methods. And never trust your doctor completly. You personally know your body better than anyone.
